The aim of the video workshops is to introduce young people to the technical aspects of digital cameras, and the possibilities smartphones offer for video production, and to introduce them to the basics of filmmaking.

In the process of putting their newly-gained knowledge into practice, the students were guided by experienced filmmakers and producers who helped them make videos and edit them using video-editing programs. 
In such a short time period, it was not possible to teach the students to professionally create and edit video materials, but they did get complete knowledge and experience about creating high-quality, modern-looking videos by using templates and shortcuts easily available online. The students were very motivated to be a part of this project and contribute their original work, and they will be able to contact the workshop moderator by phone for help before they submit their work for the competition.
